The intense heat of the season is cut through with crisp fabrications and cool, earthen hues: ochre, pale tonal stripes, smoke grey, pale pink and blue.
Modernity drives tradition, sharpening material lightness with McQueen’s signature precision. The jacket, shirting and denim become the primary site of exploration. A contemporary wardrobe built on a heritage of tailoring and subversion.
Harness details and corset lacing are loosened; coming undone against the structural rigour of incisive suiting. Vivid knitwear and jersey are knotted and draped. An evolution rooted in the pace of the modern city.
The archetypes of an essential wardrobe, with finishings articulating the technical power of the atelier. Intricate floral and ceremonial embroideries. Sculptural wishbone talismans incorporated into shoes and bags. Nature amid metropolitan modernism.
