USA Return Policy

McQueen does not accept returns of sold products unless stipulated in accordance with this Returns Policy or the applicable laws provide otherwise. McQueen will accept eligible items for exchange, if returned in their original condition, unworn, unused, unmarked, with all tags attached and in the original undamaged packaging provided at the time of sale. The following items will not be accepted for return or exchange: personal or customized items, swimwear, intimate apparel, fragrance, earrings or sale items.

Items must be returned within THIRTY (30) days of the sale of such items and accompanied by the original sales receipt. The return of items purchased from stores which are not directly operated by McQueen will not be accepted. Whether or not this policy applies shall be solely determined by McQueen subject to applicable laws.

McQueen stores will offer an exchange if the item is returned within THIRTY (30) days to a store in the same country of sale and accompanied by the original sales receipt. If an exchange cannot be found, then a store credit may be offered (where applicable). Store credits are valid for one year from the date of issue.

McQueen does not offer refunds of items purchased from stores unless required by local regulation.

McQueen provides after sales services for any items purchased from www.alexandermcqueen.com or its directly operated stores. If you have a request, we invite you to visit your closest store or contact our client service team here.

Unless otherwise stipulated in the care card of the items, should any issue occur, a free of charge repair, an exchange or store credit (valid for one year from date of issue) at the discretion of McQueen will be offered based on the below criteria:

- Proof of purchase is provided;

- The issue must have occurred within 2 years of the date of purchase of such item;

- No signs of improper use; and

- A McQueen technician has conducted a technical examination and authorised a return.

Returns will not be issued and repair fees will be charged where:

- The issue occurred more than 2 years from the date of purchase of such item;

- The item has been damaged by improper use; and

- The repair is necessary due to normal wear and tear.

For the avoidance of doubt, repairs for items purchased in a McQueen outlet store will only be available in a McQueen outlet store in the same country (or region if applicable).

Credit Notes are valid for one year from the date of issue. Expired Credit Notes will not be accepted.

If upon redeeming the Credit Note, the cost of the relevant item(s) exceeds the value of the Credit Note, the customer will be required to pay the difference in price. Unused balance on the Credit Note after expiry date will be forfeited.

In the event of any dispute, McQueen reserves the right of final decision on all matters concerning this Credit Note.

Please comply with the care instructions set out in the booklets or cards provided along with or the care labels or tags attached to the item.

All leather and suede products are naturally dyed and not artificially treated. Contact with ink, water, oil, cleaning or bleaching substance, other chemicals, light coloured clothing or materials [in fugitive colour], or exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided for all items.

McQueen reserves the right of final interpretation of and to amend any and all of the above provisions without prior notice.

Our products are created by experienced artisans who select their materials with care and test them to make sure that they meet the highest standards of quality. The article has been manufactured purely according to handcraftsmanship principles. The footwear is made from white leather and, as such, it has been finished using special dyeing techniques, which render every article different from each other and, therefore, unique. Prolonged exposure to sunlight could cause variations in colour; any differences or irregularities should therefore not be considered defects but assets.

To preserve the natural qualities and characteristics of your items over time, it is therefore important to observe the following precautions during use:

• We advise against cleaning the product with aggressive or caustic agents, as these could damage or spoil the leather

• It is also advisable to store the article in its box, wrapped in the flannel.

We accept no responsibility for consequences arising from improper use, should the product be used in a manner which deviates from the instructions given.

This article is extremely delicate; special care should therefore be taken when wearing and handling the item, and during transportation.

Do not use cleaning products that contain alcohol, acetone or any other corrosive substances, as these may damage the glitter surface of the shoe that has no special protection and has not undergone any treatment using synthetic products. It is therefore far more delicate than other models. The use of glitters renders the article particularly delicate and low resistance to abrasions and scratches, and is therefore more susceptible to wear and damage, even due to slight rubbing, which cannot be corrected.

This material in particular is created by applying a genuine metallic foil onto the leather. The foil is initially attached to a sheet of paper and, through a process of hot pressing, is then transferred onto the leather. Purchasing a product manufactured with this leather means owning an item of pure luxury – one which is both prestigious and unique. We would like to stress that the leather has no special protection and has not undergone any treatment using synthetic products. It is therefore far more delicate than other leathers. The use of metallic film renders the article particularly delicate: the foil has a low resistance to abrasions and scratches, and therefore more susceptible to wear and damage, even due to slight rubbing, which cannot be corrected.

To preserve the natural qualities and characteristics of your items over time, it is therefore important to observe the following precautions during use:

• We recommend cleaning the product regularly using a clean, dry cloth, as any small dust deposits, either on the item or on the cloth, could cause wear and scratches.

• Do not use products that contain solvents or alcohol.

• It is advisable to store the article in its special flannel, away from sources of light and heat.

• It is also important to protect it from humidity, which may compromise the bonding of the foil to the leather.
