London – its streets, subversion, energy and attitude. Its inherent tensions: modernity and historicism side-by-side. The opportunity in the shadows.

Divine euphoria, finding synergy between the sacred and the subcultural. The ethereal and the urban: the palette of religious portraiture and washed neons of underground raves. Delicate smoked tulle, and acid floral prints on reflective glass organza.

Purity and transgression: lustrous lacquered satin and leather harnesses. Precious metal body adornment by master jeweller Shaun Leane.

Precisely engineered, subverting Savile Row traditions – a practice embedded deep in the foundations of the house, shifting between formality and counterculture. Sculptural ‘angel wing’ tailoring at contrast with tall, strict suiting. Three bespoke men’s silhouettes conceived in collaboration with Huntsman, rendered in heritage British wools.

Eveningwear elevated with the transcendent artistry of the atelier. Intricate and elemental embroideries. Nocturnal jacquards that fade into sheer organza.

Master Jeweller Shaun Leane for Alexander McQueen

A London-born Master Jeweller and long-term collaborator of the house. Trained in the traditional craft of goldsmithing in the workshops of Hatton Garden, Leane’s innovative practice transcends fine jewellery, spanning art with one-of-a-kind visionary creations.

First collaborating with McQueen in 1995, Leane has created a bespoke precious metal harness, handcrafted in recycled silver, for Spring Summer 2027 – introduced as part of his new atelier, '12'. The collection also reintroduces two archival McQueen Shaun Leane pieces: sculptural headpieces from AW1998 'Joan' (Courtesy of Barrett Barrera Projects) and AW2004 'Pantheon ad Lucem'.

HUNTSMAN Savile Row for Alexander McQueen

With 177 years of tailoring heritage and bespoke craftsmanship, Huntsman plays a definitive role in Savile Row’s global reputation as a destination for unparalleled rigour and precision.

Huntsman has previously collaborated with McQueen twice, in 2002 and 2012. Spring Summer 2027 marks the third collaboration between both houses, seeing Huntsman create three bespoke looks, each defined by an elongated silhouette with an exaggerated shoulder and high, narrow waist.
