The use of precious leathers means that it may be possible to make out variations in color in the patterning, irregularity in the design of the scales, or small imperfections in the surface of the product. These precious materials are finished with minimal use of substances that may alter the final look of the item. These characteristics, as well as the susceptibility to abrasion, the delicate nature of the color stability and the characteristic fading which occurs in the areas of greatest wear of the product, are further testament to the natural qualities, value and authenticity of precious leather. To preserve the natural qualities and characteristics of your items over time, it is therefore important to observe the following precautions during use: -	If your item should come in contact with water, avoid rubbing the surface. Absorb the moisture by dabbing the product with a soft cloth in a natural color instead, avoiding any movements that go against the direction of the scales, if applicable. -	Avoid contact with water, oily substances, perfumes, make-up and pale-colored items of clothing. -	Avoid exposing the item to direct sources of light and heat or damp environments for prolonged periods. -	Do not use care products that are not designed for your item, such as shoe polish, trichloroethylene, oils, stain removers, alcohol or solvents. -	To keep the shape of the bag or footwear intact, we recommend filling it with tissue paper when not in use and storing it in its flannel case (avoiding plastic and nylon), or store the item in its box.
