A Team Arts Education: Embroidery Design

Members from the Alexander McQueen embroidery teams visited A Team Arts Education in Tower Hamlets for a week long Embroidery Programme.

Inspired by nature, and a visit to Kew Gardens, the young people taking part were encouraged to use their own research of the local flora to create hand sketches on paper, which were transformed with the help of the McQueen team into 3D hand embroideries on fabric.
