Central Saint Martins: Creative Cutting Project

The Alexander McQueen Design team hosted a creative cutting project with BA Fashion Design with Marketing students from Central Saint Martins.

The students explored both traditional and innovative methods of garment making. The group learnt how to subvert classic techniques to conceptualize structure, shape and volume. They discovered new and unexpected ways of joining and finishing fabrics donated by McQueen – reinventing and recycling while expanding their design processes.
